Just called the clinic. Pooka is out of surgery and doing very well, they say. Sleeping, sedated on some very good pain meds, snuggled under a blanket. I don't know any more details -- left message for the doc to call me back when he could.
Sweet dreams, Pooka, rest well, mend well.

Jess, I'm so glad that Pooka made it through surgery OK. I've been thinking about you both all day, and have been checking this blog regularly to see how things are going. Pooka will be home before you know it!
